Fort Worth Leak Detection is a referral and matching service for homeowners in Fort Worth, Arlington, Mansfield, Keller, Burleson, North Richland Hills, and nearby cities. We connect you with independent, TSBPE-licensed local plumbers; we don’t perform the work ourselves. We don’t list a fake office address, and we don’t claim reviews or rankings that belong to another business.
What’s free and what isn’t
We want to be clear about this, because “free leak detection” ads can be misleading:
- Free: sending this form, calling or texting us, and being matched with a local plumber. You’re under no obligation.
- Often free: many plumbers give repair estimates at no charge once they know what needs fixing. Ask when they reach out.
- Usually paid: electronic leak detection itself takes specialized equipment and time, so most plumbers charge for it. National cost guides put it at roughly $150–$400 (Angi, 2026). The plumber should tell you any fee before coming out.
What to include
- Your name, best phone number, and email
- City and ZIP
- What you’re noticing: high bill, warm floor spot, running-water sound, damp flooring, sewer smell, low pressure
- Whether you’ve done the meter test, and what happened (see below)
- Whether water is actively coming into the house right now
- Anything you know about the home’s plumbing: past leaks, age of the house, pipe type, whether the slab is post-tensioned
A quick meter test (optional, but helpful)
- Turn off all water use, including irrigation, ice makers, and pool fill.
- Check the meter. If the leak indicator spins or the reading changes over an hour, water is moving.
- Close your main shut-off. If the meter stops, the leak is likely inside the house. If it keeps going, it may be the yard line.
More detail is on the slab leak detection page.
What happens next
- We receive your request through the form or by phone.
- We match you with an independent, TSBPE-licensed local plumber (or a restoration company if your main concern is water damage).
- A local pro will reach out to ask questions, explain any fees, and schedule if you choose.
- You decide whether to move forward. Any work, price, permit, and warranty is between you and the pro.
Areas we cover
Requests come from across Fort Worth and nearby cities: Arlington, Mansfield, Keller, Burleson, and North Richland Hills. Nearby ZIPs are welcome too. Send the form and we’ll let you know if we can help.
Your information
We use what you send only to respond to your request and match you with a local pro, who receives your contact details and description so they can reach out. We don’t sell your information. Details are in our privacy policy.
Questions to ask the pro who reaches out
- Is there a fee for leak detection or the service call, and is any of it credited toward the repair?
- How will you locate the leak, and how close do you expect to get before cutting concrete?
- What repair options fit my home: spot repair, tunneling, reroute, or repipe?
- What’s included in the written estimate, and who handles flooring, drywall, and permits?
- What written warranty comes with the repair?
